Frequently Asked Questions

 FAQs

  • We are One-Eared Dog Farm because Mike’s first dog on the property, Anja, only had one ear. The farm had a name long before flight pens were built!

  • Low and slow! Smoked, spatchcocked and roasted, slow-cooked are common ways to cook a pheasant. Check out our blog for recipes.

  • Our pheasants are available annually from mid-October until we are out of stock.

  • We do not sell live birds. We sell our birds once they have been processed at a USDA approved facility to restaurants, meat markets, and to individuals. To learn more about our story and where our pheasants are sold, check out our About Us page and Contact Us with any remaining questions!
